Hey British Car Fans...

 

It is with great regret that we have to advise everyone that there WILL NOT be a British car show in Beaconsfield in 2015. We, the organisers, wish to thank everyone for their support and encouragement over the years that we have run the show.

 

We have decided to Join forces with the Baie d’Urfe  Car Show, which will be held on Sunday, August 2nd, 2015, at Fritz Farm, 20477 Lakeshore Road in Baie d’ Urfe, Quebec.

 

The Baie D’Urfe Car show features pre-1990 UNMODIFIED cars, trucks, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, etc, and includes entertainment, as well as food, on site .

 

Unlike our previous Beaconsfield British Car Shows, there will be a entrance  fee of $10:00 per car for the Baie d'Urfe show. You will also be able to pre register for the event.

THE SHOW IS CANCELED!

It is with great regret that we have to adivse everyone that the show on June 15th is CANCELED!

The town has advised that, due to the heavy rain, the field is waterlogged and won't support the weight of the cars without causing damage to the turf. They are therefore not allowing access to the field and cannot offer an alternate site.

THERE IS NO RAIN DATE SO THE EVENT IS CANCELED FOR THIS YEAR!

Hopefully we  will have better luck in 2015, or perhaps look for a more reliable venue.

The 2014 Beaconsfield British Car Show is fast approaching and for those who have wondered or who have asked... 

YES! The show is on!

SUNDAY JUNE 15TH

10:am to 4:00pm Centennial Park, 288 Beaconsfield Blvd, Beaconsfield, Quebec.

An old-style 'Show & Shine' picnic in the park.
Food will be available on-site also if you do not wish to pack the picnic hamper.

NOTE: Since this event is not a pre-registered show, it will be impossible to contact everyone if there is an issue with the weather. Last year torrential rains flooded the field and caused a very last-minute closure of the field by the town. THEREFORE, IF THE WEATHER CALLS FOR HEAVY RAIN THE EVENT WILL BE CANCELED.

Beaconsfield British Car Show 2014!

It's said that you can never have enough of a good thing, so we thought, "why not have another show this year?

And so we will! If Spring ever arrives!

Mark your calendars and bring the family on Sunday, June 15th, to our usual 'show & shine' at the usual Centennial Park location in Beaconsfield. If you are not inclined to bring your own 'picnic in the park', food and drink will be available on site.

IT'S NEARLY SHOW TIME!

Less than a week to go until the show's REVISED DATE of Sunday, JULY 28th!

As usual, there is no charge for entry to this event and the first 100 cars receive our traditional collectable Beaconsfield British Car Show dash plaque courtesy of  Joel Segal and his team Decarie Motors. Decarie will also be displaying a delectable selection of the latest British motors from their stock. Kwik Kopy Pointe Claire will once again be providing car cards for everyone also, so be sure to stop by at the registration tent when you arrive to pick up your goodies!

This year we are pleased to present our new event signage supplied by Garnet Redmond at Digitally Driven Grafx so look for that as you enter the field.

Special thanks also to Sebastien Gaudreau and the team at Assurance RPB/Silver Wheels for their generous support, as well as the Town of  Beasconsfield, of course!

The Show is ON AGAIN!

GOOD NEWS BRIT-CAR FANS!

After discussions with the Town of Beaconsfield, as well as our sponsors, the show has been rescheduled to Sunday, July 28th 

There is NO rain date so let's hope the 'British' weather is over by then!

The show will once again be held in Centennial Park, Beaconsfield Boulevard,  between 10 am and 3 pm and will follow the usual "Picnic in the Park'  theme as originally planned .

Please check out this blog for any future developments and spread the word to other British car owners you know. We hope to see you at the show!

URGENT!  PLEASE READ AND PASS ON!

After much deliberation, and in consultation with the Town of Beaconsfield, the British Car Show scheduled for today, Sunday May 26th, has unfortunately been CANCELLED!

After days of heavy rain, Centennial Park is waterlogged and cars cannot access the site. The weather forecast today is grim and the expected turn-out likely to be very low.

We are reviewing our options to consider a 'rain date' in the near future, so stay tuned. Information will be posted here as well as communicated through the various major car clubs and media outlets.

Sadly, today just proved to be a bit too much of a 'British Summer Day.' Thank you for your understanding and let's look forward to meeting up again soon in better conditions.
